Several teams undoubtedly have been watching with interest Matt Harvey's public dispute with the Mets, perhaps none more closely than the Yankees, who know the New London, Conn. product is a pitcher who not only loves New York but has shown the ability to pitch and win in New York. Few could see the Mets trading Harvey cross-town, of course. But a few years from now, when he's a free agent, it's worth noting that the Yankees do love Harvey's enormous talent and his usual moxie (this last week notwithstanding).
